Like most of us, I’m guessing you’ve struggled with your weight, struggled keeping with an exercise program, or maybe even struggled with giving a crap about any of it. Making changes in your lifestyle can be overwhelming and frightening. Let me show you how to do it in small, manageable steps that create lifelong changes to your health.
Health Coaching isn’t about directing you on what to do; it’s about working WITH you to find the healthy behaviors you want to add while eliminating any habits that would get in your way. This is a dance, not a wrestling match. We will work together to formulate a plan that sets you up for success.
Nutrition:
I despise the word “diet.” How many times have you heard someone say “I feel like I’ve been on a diet my whole life?” That automatically conjures up negative feelings about food. I want every one of my clients to look at food as this amazing fuel their body needs to be at its absolute best. Step away from fad diet plans, stop the yo-yo dieting and start eating as your life depends on it because it actually does.
Fitness:
There are very few people out there that just love working out. Sure you have your runners with their runner’s high, your group fitness junkies (me included) that love shaking their groove thangs, but most people look at it as just another thing they have to do. Like everything else in life, daily movement and fitness need to become a habit because motivation will only take you so far. (Remember that couch to 5K you did but now your running shoes are in the back of your closet?) Together we’ll find a way for you to add fitness to your life without it feeling like a daily root canal.
